Dagger. Why speak to me?

I have acces to a very large colection of antique weapons. The age and bredth of the stated colection is considerable.
Whilst museing over some recent perchaces I was drawn towards an ancient looking but well preserved assasins dagger. This is a photo I feel expresses that moment.
